About Kayla…
Kayla Kirschner is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for nutrition education and wellness. Her nutrition philosophy is “everything in moderation”, which guides her approach to creating personalized nutrition plans that enables clients to create their own food freedom.
Kayla has experience working with a broad range of clients through her previous roles teaching nutrition to school age children, working as an in-store Retail Dietitian, and developing and executing corporate nutrition and wellness programs. She has hosted nutrition workshops and presentations, individual and group counseling sessions, health fairs, and healthy food tastings/demonstrations.
She works closely with her clients to address their goals and manage conditions including allergies, weight management, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Kayla also enjoys working with those who are on their own wellness or weight management journey and looking for lifestyle changes that will work for them. Kayla has experience mixing together nutrition and culinary skills and enjoys helping clients find ways to make feeding their family easy and fun. Kayla has worked in food service management and assisted with menu development and creation, nutrition labeling, and healthy recipe development and testing.

Certificate of training in obesity & weight management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Certificate in nutrition counseling from Cornell University
Completion of a Dietetic Internship through Rutgers University
Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Pennsylvania State University.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys staying active by participating in group workout classes, going for walks with her friends and family, and skiing. Kayla has a love for animals and a cat of her own at home, Boo. She loves baking, trying new restaurants in New York City, and live entertainment.
